The Billings Polar Bears topped the Philadelphia Liberty Academy, 4-1, in USSL Double A action at The Igloo. The standout performance belonged to Billings pitcher and Kingston, Jamaica, native Dermot Chave. Chave picked up the win for Billings, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. The Polar Bears raised their record to 9-14.

Joshua Lade had a big 2-run home run for the Polar Bears in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Billings leading 2-1 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a slider from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Monty McLean and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Polar Bears on top, 4-1.
