Martin Humphrey brought his A-game to help Lake Murray defeat the Squirrel Hill Pierogis, 2-1. Mark Lee picked up the save, his 4th. The first-place MotorBoaters hiked their record to 21-11.

Tony Rosales drew 1 walk for Lake Murray. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning, Rosales had a clutch at-bat. Facing Squirrel Hill hurler Neal Huff, he grounded out, driving in 1 run to give the MotorBoaters a 2-1 lead.
