Thanks in large part to shortstop Roy Elliott, the Barton Springs Blues beat the Arizona Javelina, 7-4. Elliott went 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Barton Springs starter Ryan Glover was credited with the win after throwing 111 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-1. William Richmond earned the save, his 2nd.

Elliott contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Barton Springs get the win.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Elliott told the Barton Springs Bulletin. "It's as simple as that."

With the victory, the Blues record stands at 20-19.
