The Billings Polar Bears got a magnificent effort from pitcher Carlos Ramos, who kept Squirrel Hill hitters in check en route to a 2-0 Polar Bears win at Field of the Rawhides. Sean Brown sewed up the save, his 1st. Billings has rattled off 4 straight wins.

The Polar Bears had to work out of trouble with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 2-0, Billings. But Squirrel Hill, with the bases empty, had mounted a threat. Michael Jones dug in at the plate. But on a 0-2 cutter, Jones grounded out.
