Led by Jing-sheng Siu, the Ithaca Fighting Imps downed the St. Petersburg Thunder, 4-3. Siu went 2-3 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Fighting Imps. Gary Aldridge got the win, improving to 5-0. He held the Thunder to 2 runs on 6 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 3. With the win, the Fighting Imps sit at 22-20.

Siu contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Ithaca in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Siu took a slider from Pancho Maldonado and stroked the home run to right. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Fighting Imps to leap in front, 4-2.

After the game, Ithaca manager Jeffrey Lewis applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
