The Providence Pilgrims racked up a win at Field of Plenty, bumping off the Lake Murray MotorBoaters, 5-4. Scotty Baker, who started for Providence, pitched effectively for his team. Providence reliever Luis Muñóz was the winner. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Jesse Parker. The defeat makes Lake Murray 27-16.

Seung-nam Sol was the walk-off hero for Providence. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Pilgrims center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
