The Squirrel Hill Pierogis topped the Arizona Javelina, 4-2, in USSL Double A action at Field of the Rawhides. The standout performance belonged to Squirrel Hill pitcher and Linden, New Jersey, native José Garza. Jed Knight claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. His record stands at 1-1. The last-place Javelina now sit at 14-31.
