Heron Field was the site of a tense game between the Barton Springs Blues and Lake Murray MotorBoaters.

Starting Pitcher Martin Humphrey was lights out, as the Lake Murray MotorBoaters beat the Barton Springs Blues, 3-1. Dale Hodges picked up the save for Lake Murray, his 1st of the year.

Ian Miller went 1-3 for Lake Murray. The 25-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Will Turner. It was his 15th RBI of the season.

"Martin was hitting his spots and everything had life," said Lake Murray manager David Buchanan.

With the win, Lake Murray pushed its record to 29-20.
