The 5-3 Minnesota win over Squirrel Hill was due in large part to Leo Moore. The Loons center fielder went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times. The third-place Loons have a record of 27-23.

Sin-young Yi dealt the Pierogis a blow in the bottom of the sixth. Batting with runners on 1st and 3rd and Minnesota leading 3-2, Yi hit a 2-2 fastball for a run-scoring single.
