Minnesota got a decent performance from pitcher Conner Dixon, but it wasn't enough to beat the Arizona Javelina. Arizona won the Javelina Ballpark contest, 4-3. Dixon threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Reliever Pedro De Jesús picked up the win. His record improves to 1-4. Kun Yi took the loss. The last-place Javelina have won 4 straight games.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 11th, 24-year old second baseman Dave Adams had a chance to be the hero. Minnesota pitcher Fernando Granja had other ideas. But with no outs, Adams drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Javelina had themselves a dramatic win.

Adams said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
