Cangrejos Fantasmas second baseman Carlomaria Destefani left his mark on his team's 11-7 win over the Providence Pilgrims. Destefani, who is tied for 5th in the SAA with a .833 OPS, went 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for Chesapeake in the contest. The Silver AA-leading Cangrejos Fantasmas have a record of 44-25.

With the game tied, 1-1, in the top of the seventh, Destefani had a key at-bat for Chesapeake. With the bases loaded, Destefani hit a 2-run single off Juan Soto, making the score 3-1, Cangrejos Fantasmas.
