Rivers, Zoomies Rumble to 13-4 Win
Trey Rivers had a 3-RBI night to help the Shady Side Zoomies down the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, 13-4. Ogai Sugimoto was the winner. Over 7 innings, he yielded 4 runs on 8 hits, with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts. The Zoomies raised their record to 1-1.

The Zoomies got a big hit from right fielder Randy MacBeth. Facing Plattsburgh pitcher Víctor Martínez in the bottom of the fifth, MacBeth pounded a run-scoring double to right-center. His 1st double of the season put the Zoomies ahead, 4-3.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Shady Side manager Joey Trifone.
