Crowley Rallies to 4-1 Win
|
Wet weather did not postpone the Crowley-Germantown ballgame.
The Crowley Cajuns went home winners at Titans Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Jaicus Agraan. Agraan stifled the Germantown Uruguayans, enabling Crowley to grab the 4-1 win. Gerard Johnson notched his 1st save of the season.
In the bottom of the eighth, Crowley designated hitter Phil Martin hit a two-strike fastball to right field for a run-scoring single. It put the Cajuns up, 2-1.
"Jaicus did a good job keeping the game under control," said Crowley manager Bill Wallace.
The Cajuns, now 3-0, have been playing some good baseball.
