The Crowley Cajuns picked up a win at Titans Ballpark, taking down the Shady Side Zoomies, 3-0. Starting pitcher Yuan Chia was a big reason why. In 6.1 innings, Chia surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. The win puts Crowley at 4-0.

The Cajuns got a big at-bat from first baseman Al Gross. For the game, Gross was 1 for 4 with a home run. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Crowley a 1-0 lead.

"Yuan pitched his heart out," said Crowley manager Bill Wallace.
