The home crowd had a good time watching the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish and Philadelphia Liberty U-21 get after it.

Philadelphia parlayed a decent outing from starter Bill Griggs into a solid win over the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish. The final score was 6-3. Picking up the save was 19-year old left-handed pitcher Denis Teissier.

Harry Campbell had a big 3-run home run for the Liberty U-21 in the bottom of the second inning. With Philadelphia leading 3-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 19-year old right-handed pitcher Jim Gray and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Liberty U-21 on top, 6-0.

Campbell attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."

The win leaves Philadelphia with a record of 1-3.
