The Shady Side Zoomies, despite a fine performance by Crowley pitcher Marvin Cowan, grabbed a 2-0 win at Titans Ballpark. Cowan allowed no runs over 7.2 innings. The winner was Shady Side reliever Måns Goos, now 1-0. The loser was Jason Carroll. Milo Church earned the save for Shady Side, his 1st of the year.

Todd Pacheco delivered a big hit for Shady Side. The third baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Zoomies ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Pacheco, "and then get after it again."

Shady Side sits at 3-3.
