Hicksville turned a fine outing from starter Rubén Rodríguez into a victory over the Redwood Rhinos at The Zoo. The final score was 6-2. Hicksville is now 12-11, while Redwood is 13-10.

Hicksville used a well-timed hit by Robert Bryant to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Hounds ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I don't lose sleep over a loss," said Bryant. "But I have better dreams after a win."
