Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Crowley Cajuns and the Northwest Territory Beavers. Crowley won it, 2-0. Crowley starter Miguel Romero was in command. Jason Carroll earned the save for Crowley, his 3rd. The Cajuns saw their win-loss record go to 13-11. At the same time, the Beavers fell to 18-6.

Crowley won the game in part because of Manuel Noguerola. The left fielder ripped a solo home run in the top of the first inning to put the Cajuns ahead, 1-0. For the game, Noguerola had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Noguerola told the Crowley Daily News.
