Redwood starter Ben Watkins pitched well against the Fort Knox Centennial at The Zoo. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. The win makes Redwood 15-10.

Had António Román not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Román hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Rhinos.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Watkins said.
