Spencer Lifts Cattlemen to 7-3 Triumph
|
The Ft. Worth Cattlemen beat the Long Island Lighthouse, 7-3, at The Lighthouse. Lee Spencer, in particular, was impressive. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 triples. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. With the victory, the Cattlemen record stands at 10-16.
Spencer contributed in the top of the fifth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was one at-bat among others that helped Ft. Worth get the win.
"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Spencer.
