The Beaumont Crossbeaus racked up a win at Plattsburgh Park, bumping off the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, 4-3, in 11 innings. Earl DeGraw, who started for Beaumont, pitched effectively for his team. Héctor Rodríguez notched his 1st save of the season. Beaumont is 9th in the Premier Low A with a record of 10-17.

Beaumont used the timely hitting of Jacob Barrett to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Crossbeaus on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Whenever I help the team," said Barrett, "it sort of justifies my place on the roster."
