The Tulsa Otters downed the Beaumont Crossbeaus, 4-1, at The Target. Stellar pitching by Peter Harris had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who leads the PA- with a 1.18 ERA, handcuffed his opponent all game. The save went to Bill Young, his 3rd this season. Beaumont has now lost 4 in a row.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Marc Taylor? The Tulsa shortstop had a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Otters on top, 2-1. For the game, Taylor had 2 doubles and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
