Uruguayans Turn Back Cajuns, 3-2

The Germantown Uruguayans picked up a win at Titans Ballpark, defeating the Crowley Cajuns, 3-2. Starting pitcher Rod Palmer was an essential part of his team's success. Randy Howard earned the save, his 2nd. Today's win puts Germantown at 17-19, while Crowley falls to 19-17.
Germantown used a clutch at-bat from Bailey Sharp to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Uruguayans ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
Sharp attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
