Behind an impressive start by Ruud Asmus, Plattsburgh beat Fort Knox, 3-1. Asmus picked up the win for Plattsburgh, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 2-3.

Tied up with the Centennial in the top of the fifth inning, the Puffer Fish got a boost from designated hitter Stan Jans. With a runner on 3rd, Jans saw a first pitch fastball from Nathan Tillman and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Plattsburgh on top, 2-1.
