Redwood turned a good performance from starting pitcher Tom Young into a 5-2 triumph over the Fort Knox Centennial at The Zoo. Redwood now sports a record of 18-23.
Arnold Jenkins found himself in a pressure situation in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Fort Knox hurler Edilberto Dioquino, the 20-year-old center fielder hit a sacrifice fly. His 17th RBI of the season put the Rhinos on top, 2-1.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Young said.
