Northwest Territory starter Donald Mickey pitched well against the Redwood Rhinos at The Zoo. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-1, in 10 innings. The first-place Beavers hiked their record to 30-12.

Northwest Territory used a timely hit from Marvin Heerland to get the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Beavers ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a difference-maker.

"I'm happy we won," said Mickey. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
