The Crowley Cajuns used the hitting of first baseman Al Gross to subdue the Hudsonville Flanderses, 9-2. For the game, Gross went 1-3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Wilfred Pope notched the win in relief.
