Due in large part to catcher Artie Banks, the Mexico City Blue Demons sunk the Montana Pandas, 5-3. Banks went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. Mark Bowden picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-3. He struck out 3 in 7.1 innings. By defeating Montana, the 5th-place Blue Demons improved to 14-13.

Gerald Hartnell, who is tied for 2nd in the SL in doubles with 8, came through for Mexico City with a 2-run double in the bottom of the third. The right fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 3 runs batted in.
