Germantown Loses, 10-2, to Crowley in 10
Behind a fine performance from Keith Anderson, the Crowley Cajuns knocked off the Germantown Uruguayans in 10 innings, 10-2. Anderson went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 4 for the Cajuns. The win belonged to William Hammond in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Ignacio Cortés took the loss for Germantown. The second-place Cajuns now have a record of 26-17.

Crowley used the timely hitting of Ryan Short to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Cajuns on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Anderson told the Crowley Bulletin.
