Uruguayans Top Otters to Even Record

The Germantown Uruguayans downed the Tulsa Otters, 4-0, at Ballpark of Hughesville. Germantown pitcher Jason Lewis definitely brought his A-game. Lewis, now 1-1, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing no runs. The Uruguayans sit in 6th place in the Premier Low A with a record of 22-22.
Orca Wiesblatt delivered a big hit for Germantown. The first baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Uruguayans ahead, 3-0. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.
Lewis attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
