Liberty Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
In a low-scoring tilt between the Philadelphia Liberty and the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 28-year old right-handed pitcher Milan Komljenovic was the difference-maker. The Philadelphia right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The Liberty improved their record to 18-9 with the win over Vancouver.

Had Bryan Spilsbury not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Spilsbury hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Liberty.

"It's so much easier when you throw good pitches," said Komljenovic.
