Uruguayans Earn 3-2 Win Against Cajuns
|
Dave Otto was instrumental in his team's 3-2, extra-inning triumph over the Crowley Cajuns. The center fielder went 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk for the Germantown Uruguayans. Germantown is now 27-18.
In the bottom of the 11th, Orca Wiesblatt had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring sacrifice fly to center off Crowley pitcher William Hammond.
"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Otto said.
