Tulsa turned a good effort from starter Marcos Rodríguez into a win over the Northwest Territory Beavers at Beaver Town. The Otters won the game, 3-2. The win gives the Otters a record of 16-30.

Tulsa won the game in part because of Eduardo Luján. The first baseman ripped a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Otters ahead, 3-2. For the game, Luján had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Rodríguez told a Tulsa Citizen reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
