The Shady Side Zoomies knocked off the Germantown Uruguayans, 5-2, in USPL Low A action at Ballpark of Albuquerque. Shady Side pitcher and Adelaide, Australia, native Kade Crossingham had an outstanding performance. The victory gives Shady Side a record of 24-24.

Shady Side used a timely hit from Stilwell Gardner to get the win. The right fielder delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Zoomies on top, 5-2. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I just tried to focus on getting that first guy out every inning," said Crossingham.
