Castro Helps Philadelphia Cruise to 10-3 Win
The Philadelphia Liberty U-21 used the hitting of designated hitter Fernando Castro to subdue the Crowley Cajuns, 10-3. For the game, Castro was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Bill Griggs, who is tied for 10th in the PA- in wins with 4, was the winner. He's now 4-5. The loser was Jaicus Agraan. The Liberty U-21 raised their record to 28-21.

Castro contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Philadelphia in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-0, Castro took a fastball from Jaicus Agraan and stroked the home run to center. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Liberty U-21 to leap in front, 3-2.
