Redwood got a big-time effort from pitcher Michael Swanson, but it wasn't enough to keep the Hicksville Hounds from winning the game, 3-2. Swanson threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. The Rhinos, now 27-24, have lost 4 straight.

Had Pyeong-min Pak not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Pak hit a run-scoring double. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Hounds.

"I know we have our doubters," said Redwood manager Joe Goff. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
