Despite a great performance by Fort Knox left fielder Vladya Rybnik, the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish defeated the Centennial by the score of 5-3 at Ballpark of Baxter. Rybnik was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Today's win puts Plattsburgh at 31-27, while Fort Knox falls to 31-27.
Stan Jans dealt the Centennial a blow in the top of the fourth. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Plattsburgh leading 2-0, Jans hit a 1-1 sinker for a 2-run single.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Plattsburgh manager Mike Carlisle.
