The Germantown Uruguayans could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Dan Sawyer into a win. Instead, the Northwest Territory Beavers prevailed, 3-2. Sawyer threw 5.2 innings allowing 1 run. Northwest Territory reliever Jay Keirl picked up the win, raising his record to 2-1. Hunter Holman was tagged with the loss. With the win, Northwest Territory pushed its record to 37-24.

Northwest Territory used the timely hitting of Emmanuele Mazzon to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Beavers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Northwest Territory manager Robert Acker praised his team's "businesslike approach."
