Thanks in large part to right fielder Bud Wiser, the Crowley Cajuns beat the Fort Knox Centennial, 9-7. Wiser went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The win was credited to Ryan Hall in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Miguel Díaz took the loss. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Cajuns.

Nick MacIlwhom hit a run-scoring double off Miguel Díaz in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Cajuns in front, 8-7. In addition to the double, MacIlwhom had 2 singles, while going 3 for 4.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Wiser told the Crowley Daily News.
