Plattsburgh Loses, 4-0, in 10

The Beaumont Crossbeaus used a stellar performance from pitcher Rory Sherman to throttle the Plattsburgh offense en route to an extra-inning, 4-0 win at Plattsburgh Park. Carlos Herrera earned the save for Beaumont, his 4th of the year. Beaumont is now 26-36, Plattsburgh 33-29.
The standout performance belonged to 19-year-old Sherman. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Crossbeaus. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Puffer Fish, striking out 6 and scattering 4 hits over 9 innings. Sherman is now 6-4 on the season.
"I put my work in and trusted the process," said Sherman.
