Beavers Pick Up 2-1 Road Win Over Germantown
The Northwest Territory Beavers rode a solid performance from 19-year-old starting pitcher Donald Mickey to a win, beating the Germantown Uruguayans, 2-1, at Ballpark of Albuquerque. Greg Thomas wrapped it up, recording his 6th save. The Beavers bumped their record to 38-24 with this latest triumph.

Dennis Gillespie, who is tied for 6th in the PA- with a .386 on-base percentage, had a direct impact on the outcome. Gillespie contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Northwest Territory up, 2-0.

"Winning is contagious," said Mickey. "We're looking forward to the next game."
