Beavers Suffer 8-4 Road Loss
The Germantown Uruguayans withstood an impressive performance by Northwest Territory shortstop Marvin Heerland to defeat the Beavers, 8-4, at Ballpark of Albuquerque. Heerland went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The loss makes Northwest Territory 38-25.

Germantown got a lift in the bottom of the first from designated hitter Hsin-ta Sun, who hit a fastball to right-center for a 2-run triple. His 5th triple of the season put the Uruguayans up, 2-0.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Jamie Scott said.
