Cajuns Absorb 2-1 Home Loss
|
Plattsburgh pitcher Jerry Creichton had a large part in his team beating the Crowley Cajuns, 2-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The winner was Creichton. He threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Chris Fry. Plattsburgh, now 34-30, holds down 4th place in the Premier Low A.
Luis López, who is tied for 6th in the PA- in bases on balls with 31, had a direct impact on the outcome. López contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the sixth inning to put Plattsburgh up, 1-0.
Plattsburgh manager Mike Carlisle said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
