Northwest Territory Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Tulsa got a decent performance from pitcher Boudewijn Vervoort, but it wasn't enough to beat the Northwest Territory Beavers. Northwest Territory won the Beaver Town contest, 5-3. Vervoort threw 7.1 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. The winner was Northwest Territory reliever Greg Thomas, now 2-0. The loser was Dudley Farrell. The Beavers win now puts them at 39-27.

Northwest Territory got a critical at-bat from Zachary Wilcox. The center fielder stroked a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was huge.

"What a buzz," said Wilcox after it was over.
