Plattsburgh turned a good effort from starting pitcher Vern Peña into a win over the Hicksville Hounds at Plattsburgh Park. The final score was 2-1 in 10 innings. Christian Sandoval, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2062 draft, was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-3. The losing pitcher was Dan Bozovic. The victory gives Plattsburgh a record of 36-31.

The Puffer Fish got a clutch hit from center fielder Mark Thornber. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Puffer Fish.

"Vern was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Plattsburgh manager Mike Carlisle.
