The Mexico City Blue Demons racked up a win at Condor Nest, bumping off the Baltimore Bullets, 5-3. Jeff McFarland, who started for Mexico City, pitched effectively for his team. Kyle Collins picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Roger de Gooyer was tagged with the loss. Leonard Dennis collected his 9th save.

Mexico City took a 4-3 lead on Ángel Soto's 6th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Soto hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Baltimore pitcher Roger de Gooyer visibly frustrated.

McFarland called the win "a lesson in teamwork."

With the win, Mexico City upped its record to 16-15.
