The Crowley Cajuns spoiled a good performance by Hudsonville shortstop Eric Thomas, bumping off Hudsonville, 6-4, at Titans Ballpark. Thomas went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Casu Marzu, the winner, is now 4-5. He struck out 4 and walked 2 over 7 innings, while allowing 4 runs on 7 hits. The 7th-place Cajuns lifted their record to 39-42.

Matt MacGruder broke a 4-4 tie in the bottom of the fourth with a run-scoring walk. It put the Cajuns in front, 5-4. For the game, MacGruder was 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk.
