Grey Wolves Earn 4-3 Win Versus Lighthouse
The Vancouver Grey Wolves had to overcome a fine effort from Long Island pitcher Steve Romero to win, 4-3, in 11 innings at The Lighthouse. Romero went 6.1 innings and allowed 3 runs. Reliever Denny Gaston picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Larry Alexander, who finished 2nd in the SL in saves with 22 last year, took the loss. Vancouver is in 8th place in the Silver League with a record of 12-19.

Seung-mo Yong had a direct impact on the outcome. Yong contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put Vancouver up, 4-3.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Yong.
