Cajuns Win at Fort Knox, 4-2
|
The Crowley Cajuns trumped the Fort Knox Centennial, 4-2, at Ballpark of Baxter. Crowley right fielder Colin Davidson was terrific. He was 2-5 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. At 41-43, the Cajuns find themselves in 7th place in the Premier Low A.
With Crowley leading 2-1 in the top of the sixth, Davidson hit a 2-run single off Fort Knox hurler José Toro. It was the 70th hit of the season for Davidson and put his team ahead, 4-1.
"I put some good swings on the ball," said Davidson.
