Liberty Keep Streak Alive with Late Rally
The Philadelphia Liberty faced a tough opponent in Las Vegas pitcher Gilberto Malfeito, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Liberty Park by a final score of 4-3. Malfeito went 7 innings and allowed no runs. Philadelphia is now 23-10.

Rhys Jeffes cracked a home run off Bill Marshall in the bottom of the eighth. His 3-run blast put the Liberty on top, 4-2. In all, Jeffes had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

Philadelphia manager Geoff Matt was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
